The Ranch

At Blissful Retreat and Rescue Ranch, our Orchard is a vibrant tapestry of flavors and healing. We've planted a diverse array of fruiting trees, from crisp apples to juicy peaches, promising a symphony of tastes to delight the senses. Alongside, our Orchard boasts an enchanting collection of medicinal trees, offering natural remedies and holistic benefits. Whether you're indulging in nature's sweet offerings or exploring the healing wonders of our botanical treasures, our Orchard invites you to savor the beauty and abundance of nature.

In April 2024, we're starting our beekeeping journey with the arrival of our NUC. These busy bees will enhance our orchard and gardens by pollinating our fruit, vegetables, and flowers. We're excited to see the fruits of their labor in the form of delicious honey come fall.

Drawing inspiration from those who have paved the way, Jon and I embarked on the journey of building our own Greenhouse. With careful planning and resourcefulness, we opted for a pallet and cow panel design that suited both our budget and skills. Gathering materials through a combination of purchases and generous donations, we've made significant progress on this project. While it's not yet complete, our greenhouse has already proven invaluable, doubling as a staging area for other endeavors such as our storage shed paint project. We're excited to see this greenhouse blossom into a vital hub for nurturing our plants and crops.

Amidst winter storms, a generous donation of an entertainment center has been transformed into our charming farmstand, thanks to my creative imagination and Jon's skilled handiwork. We're diligently navigating through regulations with Amador County to ensure compliance, a process that requires both time and resources. Every purchase from our farmstand directly supports Blissful Retreat and Rescue, fostering deeper connections within our community.

At our Previtali & Above Community semi-annual yard sale, community connection is key. We're dedicated to supporting our neighbors just as they support us. Currently, we're focused on constructing our Storage Shed, where we'll host our bi-annual sales for Blissful Retreat and Rescue. Remember, all donations are tax deductible, and every sale directly benefits our mission.
